Frequently Asked Question (FAQs)

FAQs

Q... Do I need planning permission?

A... In most circumstances a static building will require planning permission, most mobile buildings will not. Please call us for further advice.

Q... What kind of base do I need?

A... A concrete base is best for stables but a hard-core base can be adequate in some circumstances. Don’t hesitate to contact us for advice on all aspects of groundworks.

Q... Do you carry out ground works?

A... We don’t carry out groundwork except for brickwork where required. We can however recommend various contractors depending on your location.

Q... Do I need to put my stables on a brick plinth?

A... It is definitely advisable to erect your building on a single course of bricks. This will give an effective water barrier and prolong the life of the building. We will  carry out this work ourselves if required.
